The UK-based responsible fashion brand has revealed why it’s expanding into beauty...

The latest fashion retailer to dip a toe into the lucrative beauty industry is ethical clothing company Nobody’s Child.

The company will launch its new ‘Goddess Collection’ into John Lewis, M&S and Boots and will stock these products alongside its fashion and lifestyle products, both online and in bricks-and-mortar stores.

The new range features perfumes, diffusers and candles, as well as mini gift sets, hand cream trios, night routine skin care sets and (recycled) velvet wash bags, each priced between £12-35.

Each of the fragrances – Gaia, Selene, Rhea and Iris eau de parfums – have been created with plant extracts and cruelty-free ingredients.

The packaging made from recyclable cartons sourced from sustainably managed forests.

Nobody’s Child is an ethical alternative to high street clothing brands that was founded in London in 2015 by entrepreneur Andrew Xeni.

Last year (2023) the company branched out into the lifestyle category and it has recently opened a flagship store in Covent Garden.

Its CEO Jody Plows commented that “beauty was the next “natural” step and that its new cosmetics offering “embodies the spirit of the Nobody's Child customer.”
