Kerfoot is part of the international French agro-industrial Avril Group company, its oleochemicals subsidiary. Cornelius Polska produces and shares specialty chemicals, additives and ingredients for the personal care, health and nutrition and performance chemicals markets.
Natural and organic oil market
The duo’s distribution agreement will see Cornelius Polska distribute Kerfoot’s bespoke personal care products throughout Poland to expand its European presence. Kerfoot Group’s speciality oil products have Soil Association, Kosher approved, British Retail Consortium (BRC) Food Grade A and Consumer Goods Grade AA accredited certifications.
Kerfoot and Cornelius Polska’s distribution agreement began on 1st July. It will support the distribution of a selection of Kerfoot’s speciality organic oils, namely its botanical extracts, carrier oils and essential oils. The natural and organic beauty space is an established trend within the personal care industries. By expanding in the Polish marketplace, the company’s oils will contribute to the growth of this megatrend.
Poland as a key market space
Sharing why it is important to deliver its range of natural oils to the Polish personal care market, Sarah Bradley, Chief Executive, Kerfoot, explained: “Poland is a key market for Kerfoot, with it being the sixth largest cosmetics market in Europe and offering significant growth potential for the business.”
