Foreseen Shield Nopal are active plant cells made with a specific biotechnology mixing plant cell dedifferenciation and a plant cell culture controlling the synthesis of active molecules inside cells.
Made from a cactus symbol of the Mexican independance and known in the whole world for its nourishing fruits (the Barbarie figs), those cells will help skin to fight ageing. First by providing an anti-wrinkle effect on skin especially at the crow’s feet, (proven by a clinical study : reduction of the total surface of wrinkles of 31%). Focusing on photo-ageing, they will protect skin from UV damages by decreasing cell DNA fragmentation (measure of the DNA size). In the same time, they will decrease pigmentation (decrease of melanin rate of 14% and tyrosinase activity of 13%) and oxidation UV induce (decrease of malondialdehyde of 18%). To complete the action, they will increase the skin immune defense system UV affect by decreasing IL-8 and IL-10 while increasing the proliferation of lymphocytes.
All tests were performed with a concentration of 0.1% of 100% cells in powder. Foreseen Shield Nopal is not allergenic, preservative free, and can be used in any type of formulation – from suncare ranges to daily skincare (daycream, serum, etc.) or colour cosmetics (foundation, pressed powder, etc.).
