in-cosmetics Global 2018 – where innovation and interactivity inspire the next generation of personal care products

Roziani Zulkifli, eExhibition Mmanager in-cosmetics Global 2018, talks us through the ingredient sourcing exhibition’s brand new elements, which cement its position as the world’s must-attend event for personal care professionals.

“The personal care sector is one of the most dynamic industries in the world; it is constantly changing and evolving. Each year, it brims with new trends, products and innovations and it’s essential that in-cosmetics Global keeps apace. We are therefore constantly developing alongside the industry to offer cosmetic manufacturers a one-stop-shop where they can learn about the latest trends, get a first look at novel ingredients created in all four corners of the globe and enhance business relationships.

As part of this evolution, we have introduced a plethora of exciting new concepts for 2018:

  • A series of ‘silent’ R&D Tours sponsored by Mibelle Biochemistry and Novacap. These will focus on two of the industry’s major trends – Biotechnology Actives and The Future of Anti-Ageing – and will shine a spotlight on some of the newest ingredients and technologies that will be launching at the exhibition in a quick, convenient and relevant format.
  • Our new pre-show Regulatory Conference, which will address the most crucial challenges that personal care professionals are facing today. Organised by CONUSBAT and sponsored by Ithos Global, it will take place at the RAI Amsterdam on 16 April in Workshop Room 1 from 14h00 – 18h00 CET and will examine the topic of Cosmetic Regulations: Europe and The World. It is aimed specifically at regulatory and compliance professionals from both ingredient suppliers and manufacturers of finished products, helping them to create safe and effective products and enter new markets worldwide.
  • A huge hit at our other shows, we’re bringing the Formulation Challenge to in-cosmetics Global for the first time. Sponsored by Croda and taking place on 19 April, the competition will see six leading manufacturers create an innovative formulation from a box of mystery raw materials in just 90 minutes, to be judged by a panel of market specialists.
  • Boost your Test, in partnership with Skinobs, entails an interactive area spotlighting human testing, in-vitro testing and testing through high tech devices, within the categories of anti-pollution, microbiome, and anti-ageing.

There is no better place to widen your knowledge of the cosmetics market or keep up with the hottest trends and innovations.  For more information, to check out the products that will be on show and to register, please visit http://www.in-cosmetics.com/global
