Indie Beauty gains ground at in-cosmetics Global 2020, thanks to Formula Botanica partnership

Following the success of last year’s Indie Trail feature, the show organizers have teamed up with the online cosmetic science education venture to expand the programing and resources available to indie beauty brand leaders at this year’s edition of in-cosmetics Global.

“The incredibly successful launch of our first ever Indie Trail in 2019 is testament to how influential and important this area of the industry has become,” ​says Shona Thomson, Marketing Manager for in-cosmetics Global, in a media release announcing the new partnership.

“By officially partnering Formula Botanica in 2020, our 30th birthday year,” ​notes Thomson, “we not only acknowledge this dramatic shift in the market but also further our support of indie brands.”

Formula Botanica CEO Lorraine Dallmeier agrees: “This edition of in-cosmetics Global,”​ she says, “is putting indie and natural beauty firmly on the map as a strong, economic force in the cosmetics’ sector.”

The Indie Trail returns to in-cosmetics Global

The Indie Trail feature at in-cosmetics events is an opportunity for cosmetics and personal care ingredient suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers to publicize their indie-ready products and services. It’s a listing (and marked selection) of the exhibiting companies ready to work with independent brands.  

This year’s Indie Trail feature is being sponsored by Formula Botanica; and as part of that partnership, the education platform will be hosting workshops and presentations meant to make the event all the more valuable for independent beauty brand leaders.

Workshops and presentations for indie beauty brands

Formula Botanica is an online education platform for natural cosmetic formulation. And at the 2020 edition of in-cosmetics Global, Formula Botanica will conduct real-time trainings.

“Formula Botanica reaches hundreds of thousands of formulators and entrepreneurs globally and we want to help them navigate the complexities of working with ingredients suppliers and industry decision-makers,” ​Dallmeier tells the press. “We are greatly looking forward to not only representing but also being on hand, as show partners, to guide and advise the indie beauty community at in-cosmetics Global 2020.”

Dallmeier will be speaking as part of the Indie Beauty Roundtable discussion in the Marketing Trends theater on April 1 at 1pm. And Formula Botanica R&D head Timi Racz will lead 3 workshops the following day in the in-cosmetics Formulation Lab. Throughout the tradeshow, Formula Botanica will be headquartered at the Indie Beauty Hub (stand AP19).

This year’s in-cosmetics Global event will be held in Barcelona, Spain, and run from March 31 through April 2. Learn more about in-cosmetics Global 2020 here.
