Lauren DelDotto, marketing director at Gattefossé, describes the current indie beauty movement as “a high-growth area of the industry.”
“The indie brands are really up-and-coming in our industry today,” she says, in this video interview with CosmeticsDesign.com editor Deanna Utroske. And she explains why the company is a good partner for independent cosmetics and personal care brands, saying, “Gattefossé is really well-positioned to work with these brands. We’re natural; we’re still small enough; [and] we have application labs around the world where we can really help these brands with the formulation.”
And the company is connecting with indies beyond the tradeshow environment. Next Tuesday, Gattefossé is putting on a webinar for indie brand leaders called Indie. Indeed. And according to the company site, “This introductory webinar is a chance to get to know Gattefossé. We’ll present the many products and services that Gattefossé can offer to indie brands, discuss our current actions towards CSR and sustainability, and then open the floor to you for questions.” And then next month, Gattefossé will host an in-person event for indie brands in partnership with the consumer research agency Spate NYC.
