The SCS (Society of Cosmetics Scientists) in the UK is set to host a new conference, dedicated to the naturals trend in beauty and personal care.

Set to take place 2-3 July in Manchester, UK, the Naturals in Cosmetic Science Conference gathers experts to discuss the use of natural and organic ingredients in formulation.

Leading figures in the industry are set to present, including Ecovia Intelligence’s Amarjit Sahota who will speak on ‘Sustainability in the Cosmetics Industry: Future Directions’, and Emma Dawes from the Soil Association, who will cover ‘COSMOS – What? Why? Who?’, getting delegates up to speed about  up to speed on the international organic and natural standard COSMOS.

Organisers emphasise that both the education programme and the networking opportunities are key reasons to attend the event.

“While learning is the #1 reason for coming to the Naturals in Cosmetic Science Conference, the opportunities to connect and engage with peers, partners, ingredient suppliers and service providers are what makes the SCS Annual Conference such a valuable experience,” they explain.
