Innocos reveals programme for June summit

The organisers of the Innocos Summit, which is taking place June 19 – 21, in Dubrovnik, have revealed the contents and speakers for its presentation programme.

Beyond its focus on industry innovation, this year’s programme will take a closer look at technology-driven trends that are really driving the market right now and taking product development and marketing to the next level.

With this specific focus, the presentations will look into topics such as how digital and big data are impacting different areas of the market, as well as changes to business models and the future of online and bricks and mortar retailing.

Meanwhile, trends that will be focused on will include marketing and operational best practices, success stories, innovation strategies, and advice on how brands and retailers should respond to changing consumer patterns.

The event will start off on the evening of the 19th of June with a welcome soiree and opening reception, which will give attendees and speakers a networking opportunity, as well as the chance to do the conference registration.

June 20th presentations

Following on from opening remarks by the chairman, the first presentation will be by Jennifer Tidy, VP of Partnerships at Modiface, who will be discussing how Augmented Reality mirrors are helping to up the game for beauty retailers.

Staying on the subject of retail, another presentation by Ingrid Hochwind, who is from the beauty partnerships team at Google, will be talking about the future of digital retail and the latest trend that are driving this part of the market.

The first day will also include a confirmed session by Frederick Fekkai, founder of the Bastide and Frederick Fekkai brands, who will be giving a presentation at 11:40am, while as well as a panel discussion to close the day’s presentations concerning diversion and inclusion in beauty.

The programme for that day will conclude with dinner at a local restaurant, followed by networking drinks at the hotel.

June 21st presentations

The second day of the programme will begin with a presentation from Irina Barbalova, global head of beauty and personal care research, at Euromonitor International, who will be focusing on how to follow the demands of beauty consumers by getting the formulation right and the tapping into the trend for wellness.

Later on in the morning session, Xavier Ormancey, R&D Cosmetics at Pierre Fabre Group, will be focusing in on the trend for clean beauty, sharing information about what it is all about, how it is impacting product development and how to help consumer identify  the trend.

For the final afternoon session, the programme takes a different turn, featuring the Innocos ‘shark-tank’ inspired beauty start-ups pitch, inviting pitches from 6 start-ups, with the day’s programme being capped off by the Innocos trends talk and a farewell dinner.
