in-cosmetics global organisers reveal their top picks for trends at the show
In this guest post, in-cosmetics Global’s organisers reveal their top choices for trends set to be under the spotlight at this year’s major trade event for the beauty and personal care industry.

The leading cosmetics and personal care event in-cosmetics Global returns to Paris from 2-4 April.

World-renowned research agencies such as Mintel, Euromonitor and Kline, amongst others, will give their expert analysis of what the future holds for the industry at the in-cosmetics Marketing Trends Theatres.

Diversity

A key topic this year will be diversity in the industry. Join Sam Farmer, Owner, Samuel Farmer & Co Ltd, in a discussion on how the personal care industry has an opportunity to develop a meaningful relationship with adolescents, as there is a change in the way young people define themselves.

The consumer behaviours that are driving this shift towards inclusive beauty will be explored by Lia Neophytou, Analyst, GlobalData.

Additionally, Emmanuelle Moeglin, Founder, Experimental Perfume Club Lab, explores the different approaches for personalisation in the beauty industry with the drive from diversity.

Vegan claims

Another key trend for 2019 is veganism. Sascha Camilli, Founder and Editor, Vilda explores how veganism went from the kitchen to the beauty counter, looking at why today's consumers are choosing to extend their compassionate values to their beauty choices.

Digital

With constant advances in technology, George Henry, Associate Analyst, GlobalData, will explore how significant digital technology is for today’s consumers in their product choices. Another interesting session, delivered by Revital Ltd, Chairman, Jeremy Seigal, will impart advice on how to succeed in the market as brands go direct to consumers through social media.

Market trends sessions

This year promises to provide a deeper insight into what the future holds in the industry during these renowned Marketing Trends Sessions.

Roziani Zulkifli, Exhibition Manager of in-cosmetics Global, commented:

“in-cosmetics has long led the charge on educational content for the cosmetics and personal care industry. Visitors trust us to provide a truly immersive, unmissable and – above all – useful experience from which they can report on their learnings when back in their businesses.”

in-cosmetics Global takes place at the Porte de Versailles in Paris from 2-4 April 2019. For more information and to receive the latest updates, please visit here.
