Holland & Barrett launches CBD-infused cosmetics range

In a sign that the European market may be ready for the rising cannabis-related skin care products that has been sweeping the US, Eos Scientific has launched their Ambience range across the UK.

“We are confident that the future of CBD in the UK retail sector looks bright, with big name retailers such as Holland & Barrett and Boots ready to hear what CBD users are saying about its effects and stock a more expansive range in their stores,” Simon Manthorpe, CEO of Eos Scientific, says.

What is CBD oil?

CBD is a cannabidiol extracted from the cannabis plant and has recently increased in popularity, people using CBD infused products to treat inflammation, joint pain, arthritis and more.

It is rising in popularity among consumers who hope that CBD skin care products could be used as a more natural alternative to over the counter products.

“The commoditisation of holistic remedies, made from natural ingredients, has become an exciting avenue for retailers to explore,” suggests Manthorpe.
