Based in Ahlen, Westphalia, the company says it wants to build on significant growth in international markets, which has seen it evolve into a multi-level marketing company.
The company launched the new LR Aloe Via brand on July 1st, a comprehensive line of 40 SKUs targeting families.
Expanded production
In line with this development, the company is also building a new production site for its aloe vera drinking gels, which will be located at the same site as its Ahlen headquarters.
“The demand for our Aloe Vera care products steadily increased over the past years. Currently, they make up about 20 percent of our core business,” said Dr. Thomas Stoffmehl, CEO of LR Health & Beauty.
“They are an important part of our partners’ daily business. In order to meet the high demand in the future, we are updating our Aloe Vera portfolio and are expanding our production capacities.”
70 million care products
Since its opening in 2002, the company has built a name for itself as one of the biggest players in both the markets for both aloe vera gels and personal care products.
Processing a total of 12,ooo tonnes of aloe vera leafs every year, that currently translates into the production of 70 million care products.
Currently the company’s offerings in the cosmetics and personal care category including the skin care brand LR Aloe Via, anti-ageing brand LR Zeitgard, the functional care brand Micro Silver and the decorative cosmetic brands LR Deluxe and LR Colours.
