Pere Adell Winkler, Kosmetikon, Spain, is set to present on the topic during the upcoming Open Academy, due to be held in October in Barcelona, Spain and organised by the Cosmetics Consultants Europe industry association.
We caught up with Winkler on his upcoming presentation. He explained that formation management and automatization through the work of a cosmetic formulator and regulatory manager will be investigated in the conference paper.

“In a more challenging market, a fast changing regulations, a need of a faster track from idea to product and a 100% reliable product files, makes necessary a tool that manages the cosmetic information and does the work almost by itself,” explains Winkler.
He notes that is now essential to be “making it easy to follow the regulation changes on our formulations and maintain the know-how of our company in one platform that rises the speed of the new product development.”
“IT tools have to progress as fast as the regulation and the market to be able to give the supposed service that does automatic work by itself and gives the spend time for this routine work for doing the really valued one,” he concludes.
