Here, we take a look at Rainbow Cream from Gova, with Patrick Gonry, R&D Manager.
What end-user consumer demand is your product responding to?
The product is responding to the multi functionality of a cosmetic product, without any compromise on activity. This product offers for example prebiotic beauty protection, 24h hydration, gentle peeling, brightening, anti-wrinkle, SPF,... actually whatever combination of activity the consumer wishes, can be achieved.
How is your product innovative?
Multi functionality is of course not new. But up till now it was achieved by blending all actives and functional ingredients together in the same cream, just like making a smoothy. This is a huge compromise, because many ingredients can not coexist. For example a peptide needs a neutral pH, while an AHA needs a low pH.
It is Impossible to combine them. With INUTEC SL1 you can make a multi layered cream. Each layer host a different active. Each layer offers the best conditions to preserve it' activity. Actives that normally cannot coexist in the same cream, can now coexist in a different layer of the same cream. Not only will all these actives be able to coexist, but they will also become more active in this type of emulsion.
We gave each layer a different color, which leads to the rainbow effect.
The cream has really something magic: everyone who comes close to the cream starts to smile
