Azelis forges new agreements to expand ingredients offerings
The company has made five new agreements with manufacturers from all over the world, covering areas such as vitamins, surfactants, silicones, starches and emulsifiers.
The move will enable the company to update its product portfolio, offering highly innovative solutions for areas of personal care formulation that are rapidly evolving thanks to the evolution of new technologies and science.
“These new suppliers and diverse ranges provide exciting options to support innovation in product formulation and meet the latest trends,” said Terry Yeates, regional business for personal care, Ireland and UK.
Global personal care suppliers
As a specialty chemical distributor, Azelis is aiming to remain at the cutting edge of the fast-paced market for cosmetic and personal care formulation, which is constantly evolving to accommodate new consumer trends.
On the surfactants side, Azelis has signed agreements with Sino Lino, which is a provider of ‘green’ surfactants targeting skin lighteners and anti-dandruff solutions, together with Temix, a European company that also focuses on esters and emulsifiers.
With respect to starches, an agreement has been made with Argana, which specialises in providing solutions produced from agricultural raw materials to provide a portfolio of refined GMO-free starches that also have food applications.
Vitamins and silicones
Meanwhile, the company is also expanded its footprint in vitamin-derived ingredients, thanks to its partnership with Showa Denko, while also growing its silicones offering by working closely with BRB.
“Our vision is to continue to build upon the complete package of innovative ingredients, technical solutions, commercial excellence and customer service to develop successful products of the future,” said Yeates.
“We aim to always be at the forefront of new technologies and new applications, adapting and updating our product portfolio constantly as new solutions become available and customer demands develop.”
