Two weeks until in-cosmetics Barcelona and it kicks off a year of growth for the series

In less than two weeks in-cosmetics Barcelona 2015 will be underway representing the 25th year the show has been running and the organisers, Reed Exhibitions, believe it is kicking off another record breaking year for their flagship personal care portfolio.

Taking place on April 14-16, the show welcomes ingredient suppliers and manufacturers alike to showcase their innovations, as well as boasting a packed educational programme looking at marketing trends, innovation seminars, and dedicated workshops.

The traditional European kick-off is also the first in a line of the brand’s events this year, with Korea joining Brazil and Thailand in hosting a show.

“2015 promises to be even bigger and better for in-cosmetics and is the realisation of our strategy to build a portfolio of events that meets the needs of the industry, be that on a global, regional or local market level,” says Lucy Gillam, Director, in-cosmetics Group.

“With our European event acknowledged as the world’s meeting place for the personal care ingredients industry, Thailand the hub for the Asian region as a whole, and the new Korea and Brazil events catering for these fast growing and increasingly influential markets, there is definitely an event to suit everyone.”

Record-breaking

Gillam explains that the show organisers are confident that its 2015 exhibitions will break visitor and attendance records.

In 2014, in-cosmetics events welcomed over 16,000 visitors in Germany, Brazil and Thailand, and this looks set to grow by up to 20% this year in part due to the launch of in-cosmetics Korea, being held in Seoul between 15-16 June.

Korea is the fourth largest market in Asia and this new addition to the in-cosmetics portfolio is on course to attract over 2,000 industry experts keen to meet and network with 150+ exhibitors, says Reed.

While in Brazil, in-cosmetics will be harnessing the success of its first show last year as a springboard to position the event as the hub for the Latin American personal care industry to come together, attracting visitors from Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru and more.

This year’s in-cosmetics Brasil will take place in Sao Paulo between 30 September – 1 October.

“Korea is an exciting development,” continues Gillam. “Alongside our Brazilian show, it is part of our vision to expand in-cosmetics into recognised but growing local markets.”

“In Brazil and Korea, in-cosmetics is the only event to exclusively target the personal care industry, offering a focused and unrivalled opportunity for companies to connect with the global marketplace.”

The new shows join the more established events taking place in Barcelona this month and in-cosmetics Asia, which will take place on 3-5 November, 2015, in Bangkok.
