Cosmoprof Bologna prepares for opening of its most international show

Cosmoprof Worldwide 2015 will open its doors on March 20th, boasting its most international event for the hair, nail, salon and spa industries.

The 48th edition of the BolognaFiere event, organised in partnership with Cosmetica Italia, will register a total growth of 3.9%: with the Perfumery and Cosmetics sector registering a growth of 10.9% compared to 2014,

Packaging event Cosmopack, which opens a day earlier and runs in conjunction with the main event, has also grown, according to show organisers.

Features

The 2015 edition will host 27 national collectives the United Arab Emirates, Thailand and the Netherlands making their first appearance, as growth is up 4.3%.

Special initiatives are planned for distributors in the perfumery, beauty and professional hairstyling sectors, along with the International Buyers Programme, which is aimed at facilitating direct contact between exhibitors and international buyers through pre-scheduled appointments with selected importers and distributors from international markets.

For the first time, Cosmoprof, in partnership with Allure and Estetica Network, will be organising a ‘Perfumery Forum’ on Friday 20th March, tackling important subjects relating to the future of the sector.

There will also be the On Hair show taking place on the Sunday and Monday, as well as the return of the Hair Forum in partnership with Estetica Network, including two sessions dedicated to the world of weddings with ‘Io Sposa Made by Cosmoprof’.

On Sunday 22nd March Salvo Filetti will also discuss details, discoveries, innovations and emotions relating to bridal hairstyling, and on Monday 23rd March Filippo Sepe and Fabienne Rea will be introducing hair and make-up ideas for brides.

Sustainability at Cosmopack

With Cosmoprof taking place on March 20-23, packaging show Cosmopack will run on 19-22 giving exhibiting companies an opportunity to make contact with exhibitors at both shows.

In total, 33 countries will be represented at Cosmopack, all linked by the theme of eco-sustainability, a vital aspect of industrial production which will be the subject of workshops and special initiatives.

Another feature is the Cosmopack Forum programme looking at the latest trends in the industry, and  the second edition of its ‘The Wall - Eco-Beauty Edition’ competition, which will reward the most innovative items, from the planning stage to the finished product, that place special emphasis on protecting the environment.
