Fifteen cocktails will be exhibited with their ingredients and spirits on display alongside fragrances from Giorgio Armani, L’Artisan Parfumeur and Annick Goutal, Yves Saint Laurent and Guerlain.
The man behind the simply entitled concept; 'Fragrances', hotel bar manager Arnd Heissen has been anything but simple with the design of the room.
He has been creative with the presentation of the drinks and fragrances, incorporating features like bird houses, a wooden shrine and a meter-long bamboo stick.
“At Fragrances, we want our guests not only to enjoy their drinks, but to experience them,” he says.
“In the choice of their favorite cocktails, our guests depend entirely on their senses. An experiment, which demands courage and curiosity on the art of the guests, but which at the same time can be unbelievably inspiring.”
The Ritz is also offering a 'Luxury Perfume Weekend' with fragrance house Frau Tonis Parfum, which will feature a workshop, champagne, canapés and exotic fruits in the perfumery at Checkpoint Charlie, where attendees will also get to try more of Heissen’s cocktails in the evening.
A display like this is nothing without ambiance and Heissen has invested in this concept by introducing interesting details like the bar's lounge being set up 'boudoir style' to bring a sensual and luxurious feeling to the room.
