Induchem XS beads promise to increase product attractiveness

Ingredient supplier Induchem announced its latest generation of visual enhancers for cosmetic formulas, as brands look for more differentiation in their products.

Standing out on the shelves has always been a tough ask in an ultra-competitive market and that has influenced the Swiss cosmetics actives provider to offer a new extra small range called Unispheres XS.

"This new range of visual carriers is a pure evolution of our technology and expertise" says Fabrice Lefèvre, Global Scientific Marketing Manager, Induchem. "The cosmetic industry is steadily looking for new visual elements increasing the attractiveness of their products.”

“This is a direct answer to studies showing that consumers are naturally attracted first by the look of the products on the shelves. Unispheres XS, due to their amazingly small size, create a new visual dimension which enables an instant visual differentiation of cosmetic products in beauty shops."

Enhance the look

These ingredients are used in the cosmetic preparation of gels, shampoos, soaps and creams, and enhances the value of the cosmetic product which becomes better looking and more effective.

Induchem’s product is the result of a unique manufacturing process that creates Extra Small spherical beads of regular size and particle distribution. The technology creates spherical beads from cellulose and sugars.

The company claims they have a small diameter of 0.2 to 0.5 mm, and that at only 0.3% they create a colourful visual effect in any kind of transparent water based formula.

These are delivered dry, and then transform to a soft and crushable bead in the finished product that disappears with a gentle rub without leaving any shell residue on skin or hair.

Unispheres XS are loaded with vitamin E (a well-known anti-oxidant for the skin), and are available in five colours:

• Flamboyant red,

• Powerful green,

• Intense yellow,

• Pure white,

• Deep blue.
