Colep launches organic aerosol cream

Consumer goods packaging player Colep has launched a new organic certified aerosol cream, in a packaging whose mixing technology allows it to use CO2 to produce a foaming quality to the product.

Compressed air is used as the propellant for the product, which the company claims is easily absorbed into the skin.

The company note they were awarded a ‘special distinction accolade’ at the recent Aerosol & Dispensing Awards at the Paris-based trade show.

The new formulation “has combined the active mixing process for food and cosmetic applications, and adapted it for an organic healthcare application,” according to Ludwig Bastiaansen, Managing Director, Colep Healthcare Division.

The company notes that the formulation is due to be used in products in the second half of this year.
