Bertil Heerink shares his vision of a more harmonized cosmetics industry

At the recent Cosmetics Vision event, we caught up with Bertil Heerink, director general of Cosmetics Europe, who spoke to us about his vision of a more harmonized global industry.

Heerink believes that the vision for the industry has to be built around meeting consumer demands and satisfying them, within the context of a fast-moving and constantly changing environment.

Specific to the European market, he also states that players there have to maintain an even more dynamic and innovative approach, given that the market is highly saturated and opportunities are increasingly niche and focused.
