The news comes after CEO Alan Ennis left the company in October last year and the summer departure of Steven Berns as CFO.
Lorenzo Delpani stepped in as the cosmetics maker’s President and Chief Executive Officer and commented: “We appreciate Chris’ dedication and contributions during his 12 years with the Company and we wish him the best in his future endeavors.”
New beginnings
Having been at the company for over a decade, Elshaw held management roles focusing on a number of different regions, from UK and Ireland, to Europe, Canada, and the US, before taking on the role as global COO in 2009.
“After 12 years with the Company I felt it was time to seek a new challenge,” he says.
“I’ve very much enjoyed working with my colleagues and business partners to develop our business around the world and I am proud of the many achievements during my time at Revlon. I wish the team well in the next stage of their journey.”
New hires
On the back of Elshaw’s departure Revlon also announced that it has appointed Gianni Pieraccioni as its Executive Vice President and Global President Revlon Consumer Division and Sennen Pamich as its Executive Vice President and Global President Revlon Professional Division.
Pieraccioni joins from aviation firm Alitalia where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, having worked at Procter and Gamble and Johnson & Johnson before.
Pamich most recently served as Senior Vice President, Revlon Pro Brands U.S. leading the business units, and also had stints at P&G and J&J, as well as Bulgari Perfumes & Cosmetics.
Strengthen
"Both Gianni and Sennen have significant experience and demonstrated success in leading global businesses,” says Delpani.
“Gianni brings to our Revlon Consumer division broad international as well as domestic experience, as he worked in Italy, Spain, the U.S. and Brazil and had country, regional and global responsibilities in his previous positions.”
“Sennen brings a global vision to his new role in our Revlon Professional division, having held senior management, sales and marketing positions in the U.S., Asia and Europe.”
The Revlon boss says these appointments are designed to strengthen the company’s leadership team and to better support and focus its efforts to develop each of its Consumer and Professional divisions.
