InnoCos gears up for 5th annual summit in Rome
The event promises two days of business and social networking alongside a comprehensive presentation agenda. Speakers taking part in the latter include representatives from Coty, Unilever, Sephora and Elizabeth Arden.
Leader of the Year Awards new for 2014
Summit organisers KGS Global highlight that several new features have been implemented for the 2014 edition of InnoCos. These include the Innovative Suppliers Showroom, Prosecco Roundtables, and Downtown Rome Trend Walk: inspirational objects and spaces.
Also new for 2014 are the innoCos Leader of the Year Awards, created to honour managers and leaders within the cosmetics and personal care industry who have contributed to their company’s success by driving innovation. The four award categories are Product, Marketing, Packaging and Retail.
“We have met many amazing leaders at our events who drive innovation in their companies, some of which have been featured on our Wall of Fame,” said InnoCos business development director Irina Kremin.
“Our goal is to give them more recognition by introducing the innoCos Leader of the Year Awards. We have the support of our jury that consists of industry leaders, consults and academics and are very excited to see the first winners in 2014!”
Comprehensive agenda
According to the event organisers, the InnoCos agenda focuses on ‘transforming business performance through innovation and marketing to secure growth, achieve brand leadership and meet future consumer needs’. Topics to be covered include new brand strategy and design, product development and innovation, and digital and social media strategies.
On the first day of the event, Jennifer Ritter of Estee Lauder will deliver a session on 'The Power of Social Collaboration and Curious Learning.' During the presentation, Ritter will cover points including understanding what social collaboration means to people as well as companies, and the importance of driving creativity and innovation through risk taking.
Irina Barvalova, global head of beauty & personal care research at Euromonitor, is to give a talk entitled 'Capitalising on the Evolving Premium/Luxury Beauty Market' on the second day of InnoCos. Among other things, Barvalova will look at the development of the premium market in developed vs emerging economies, and how companies can maximise industry crossover (such as fashion and beauty) for new business ventures.
