SEPAWA calls for submissions for its 2013 Innovation Awards

The German cosmetic, fragrance and detergents body SEPAWA is calling for submissions for its first Innovation Awards, to highlight the best in ingredients, products and technologies in the industry.

The awards forms part of the body move to recognise a broad spectrum of innovations across the industries it represents, which consists of over 1,500 members.

Submissions for the competition were opened up at the beginning of August and will close on August 31st, from which time a panel of judges will decide on a first, second and third prize from what is expected to be a long list of entries.

Looking for entries from all industry categories

The judges are looking for cutting edge entries that cover a spectrum of categories, including  raw  materials, finished products, technical innovations, processes or even concepts.

Those judges will include seven members of the SEPAWA scientific advisory board, who have been expressly chosen for their neutral stance and independence.

According to SEPAWA, the awards will offer the opportunity to platform the three award winning entries to SEPAWA members, as well as giving individual companies an opportunity to promote their work in the business to business media category.

SEPAWA Inovation Awards to become a yearly event

The organization says that its aim is to turn the event into annual homage to innovation in the industry on a European-wide basis, and to make it one of the leading awards of its kind.

According to the rules of the competition, a company may make several entries and all of those entries will be free of charge, but only one award per company will be committed.
