Clariant launches code concept for cosmetic ingredients

Specialty chemicals firm Clariant has launched its latest concept in a bid to showcase its hair and skin care ingredients portfolio to its customers and forge stronger partnerships.

The Secret Code of Beauty concept was launched at in-cosmetics 2013 in Paris and aims to support the success of its customers in the Personal Care market.

It makes use of a combination of five complementary codes to create a portfolio of specialty ingredients for skin and hair care formulations. They are: the Sensory Code; the Innovation Code; the Xpert Code; the Trend Code; and the EcoTain Code, building on Clariant's EcoTain sustainability label.

Strengthen

"With the launch of the Secret Code of Beauty, Clariant continues to strengthen its position as a solution provider and as one of the leaders in the Personal Care market - with a focus on skin and hair care," comments Anu Desikan, global marketing manager Personal Care at Clariant.

"Our broad product portfolio was inspired by the five codes of beauty that we combine to deliver unique solutions to meet market needs. This level of support is unique and we are confident it puts our customers on the right track to success."

Concept

The new concept combines Clariant's experience and knowledge in the Personal Care market, along with new developments and innovations; drawing on the trend insights that the company has gathered.

The Clariant team will then work to build strong and productive partnerships with customers to find just the right solution.

"Codes are mysterious and powerful," says Mauro Bergamasco, head of Global Marketing, Business Unit Industrial & Consumer Specialties, Clariant International.

"Uncovering a code gives strength to its discoverer. Clariant has mastered the Secret Code of Beauty, and we look forward to sharing it with our customers in a strong and productive partnership!"
