The 25th edition of the show takes place at the Grimaldi Forum on the waterfront in Monaco, with more than 6300 visitors expected over the three days.
The event will also welcome 370 exhibitors; 50 of which will be experiencing the packaging show for the first time.
Show focus
Luxe Pack Monaco is a place for exhibitors to promote new products and applications whilst industry professionals get the opportunity to network and view the latest in packaging developments and conferences on key issues and trends in the sector.
The 2012 edition will emphasise areas of sustainability, the positioning of luxury brands in emerging markets and cosmetic regulation issues; building on the US version of the show, which took place in New York in May.
"As the call for companies to develop a more environmentally responsible approach to the development of packaging, this trend has become increasingly important to the future development of all packaging for the luxury segment,” say show organisers.
Comprehensive programme
Presentations will include ‘The male luxury cosmetics sector - and what packaging trends are likely to influence sales’ whereby the speakers say; “New perspectives will be highlighted to inspire you and to help you develop a more effective approach to a male clientele.”
Other talks will focus on packaging innovations, sustainable development issues, and a round table will discuss the ‘New 2013 European cosmetics regulations 2013 - Issues and Perspectives’ on the second day of the event with Bertil Heerink, president of Cosmetics Europe on the list to attend.
As well as the seminars, the Luxe Pack in green exhibition area returns, enabling both exhibitors and visitors to share information about the latest developments and new product launches that integrate sustainable development constraints. The in green Award will also be presented at the show.
