Quadpack teams up with Premi to expand its presence in new sectors

Cosmetics packaging supplier Quadpack has joined forces with Italian glass specialist Premi, a move, the company says will help it to extend its stronghold in Italy.

Under the terms of the agreement, Quadpack will in turn support the glass and plastic packaging manufacturer with its European expansion plans with both companies declaring that the partnership is a foundation upon which to expand operations at a faster pace.

Our global network offers Premi an established infrastructure into Europe. In turn, Premi will help us break into the fragrance market, while bringing some exciting new additions to our skin care product portfolio,” says Quadpack CEO Tim Eaves.

Meanwhile, Premi president Alessandro Prestini stresses the synergy between the two companies: “Premi and Quadpack have matching values. We operate on a basis of total transparency with our partners, as well as our customers, seeking to build relationships that last.”

Poised for growth

According to the packaging supplier, Premi is poised for growth beyond its domestic market as its current portfolio features an in-house logistics department, over 200 proprietary moulds and a number of exclusive distribution agreements in place.

Premi and Quadpack will continue to service their existing client bases as before. However, clients will now have access to the expertise and complete product ranges of both companies.

Both companies project a combined turnover in Italy of €20m in 2012.

Other Partnerships

Last year Quadpack and Yonwoo, in partnership launched a 2-in-1 airless concealer packaging line for heightened product hygiene.

Available as both jumbo jars and tubes, they were designed for two–part cosmetics such as foundation with concealer.

The packs have a flip–top cap with an optional mirror, doubling as a container. The cap either snaps or screws off to reveal the second product.
