With over 11,700m2 of floor space booked up, the show is set to play host to over 530 exhibitors from around the world. More than 50 new exhibitors from countries including China, Switzerland and Korea will join returning industry stalwarts such as Croda, Merck and DSM.

Earthoil showcasing cherry oil
Earthoil, the cosmetics division of Treatt specialised in organic and fair trade certified essential and vegetable oils, is just one of the many companies to be exhibiting at the event.
The company has recently added cherry oil to its portfolio of cosmetics applications, which it says is rich in vitamins and antioxidants and provides natural, effective hydration.
Sourced from Malatya in Turkey, Earthoil claims its cherry oil is particularly beneficial for inflamed or acne-prone skin. The nutrients and vitamins in the fruit are known to play an important role in the skin healing processes and collagen synthesis, according to the company.
Alfa Chemicals to launch new emulsifiers
Meanwhile, Alfa Chemicals is launching its Sucramulse all-in-one emulsifier package based on sugar esters, which is suitable for use in a wide range of applications including skin care, hair care and baby care.
According to the company, Sucramulse produces emulsions with a fine and stable structure. Different products, ranging from rich body butters to light lotions, can be formulated by varying the level of the emulsifier, Alfa Chemicals says.
Also being launched by Alfa Chemicals at in-cosmetics is Sucragel AP, a new, more cost-effective grade of its Sucragel oil thickener and emulsifier that can be used in products such as bath gels and milks, creams and lotions and spray milks including sun care.
Gattefossé to unveil new anti-ageing active
Ingredients supplier Gattefossé is to unveil its Gatuline Radiance anti-ageing active inspired by traditional Chinese Medicine, which has also made the shortlist for the Innovation Zone’s Best Ingredient Award. Gatuline Radiance is a fruit active from the Evodia rutaecarpa shrub found in Asia.
According to the company, it can bring a rosy complexion to the skin and help maintain an even skin tone, as well as improve brightness and luminosity.
The ingredient is said to boost the skin’s microcirculation and is primarily destined for use in facial skin care and make-up applications.
