The Handle puff is claimed to be the first sponge applicator with a handle ideal for face makeup, and is designed to ensure the sponge remains suitable for multiple use, and so that the product is evenly spread.
Endurance and comfort
“When it comes to using makeup for their complexion, women are often drawn to beautiful compacts that contain a choice of pressed powders or liquid foundations,” says Albéa.
“Yet, after only a few applications, the compact rapidly loses its appeal: the sponge is not very practical with only half of its surface being used and the other covered by the fingers, and as the fingers are in contact with the sponge, application is not hygienic.”
The result is an uneven application due to the irregular removal of the product from the compact; something Albéa claims the Handle puff addresses.
The compact has a fully original sponge applicator, equipped with an ergonomic handle. The applicator offers a more hygienic and comfortable use than a classic sponge, and it is thanks to its handle, fingers are no longer in direct contact with the sponge.
Updating a classic
On top of this, the Paris-headquartered packaging firm is also updating its Eureka concept; a compact in an original shape with a unique application method, especially designed for make-up for the complexion.
By adding more option to this product range, Albéa now offers multiple compact and loose powder solutions.
In addition to its atypical design and differentiating shape in the points of sale, the Eureka applicator facilitates daily application, and once more, the handle has an easy and practical grip.
“Powder application with Eureka is effortless, ensuring maximum cleanliness and hygiene as users' fingers are never in contact with the powder puff or sponge. Compared to classic loose powder distributors, this packaging also helps better regulate the amount of powder used,” explains Albéa.
