Stephenson launches latest personal care ingredients at SCS event

Specialty soap base supplier Stephenson Personal Care has utilised its appearance at the Society of Cosmetics Scientists (SCS) Formulate exhibition to launch its two new naturally derived personal care ranges.

The new ingredient ranges, Duroclens and Durosoft, have been formulated, manufactured and tested at the company's newly opened research and development laboratory in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

The durosoft Range consists of multifunctional emulsifiers that have the added versatility of being solubilizers and co-surfactants, which Stephenson claims can offer formulators a product that is both oil and water soluble and which can be used as a sole emulsifiers and in cold process formulations.

“Duroclens Range has been designed for the purpose of producing rinse off formulations, being suitable for the water/preservative free systems but also offering formulators the option of producing Foamers and Body Washes,” according to the UK firm.
