Skin care firm targets expansion in India

Australian-owned skin care firm Intraceuticals is furth developing its expansion and growth in India by tapping into the region’s fast growing wellness services market.

Intraceuticals regional director (Asia and Middle East) Collen Chan states that the company's current focus is increasing the number of locations in India with an Intraceuticals presence.

A major part of the expansion process has been it’s recent partnership with Bangalore-based Medihauxe International as the sole distributor of its products in India.

Gururaj Pejavar, Medihauxe international director said, "We are present in six clinics in Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore for Intraceutical procedures. We plan to expand to 50 clinics in all major and mini metros by 2013." Pejavar adds that the company is in talks with leading medi-spas, hotel chains, resorts and cosmetic clinics in the country.”

The company says it expects to be established in India's top 10 cities by 2013 based on these initiatives.
