Chaired by Dr. Annelie Struessman, technical director for training organisation CONUSBAT, the main focus of the workshop will be to target information gaps for any finished goods maker or supplier seeking to secure safety assessments for their products.
“Primarily we are targeting people who are concerned with regulatory affairs, safety assessors, individuals involved in research and development, as well a sales and marketing – basically those individuals who need to know about regulatory issues for their decision-making,” Dr. Struessman told CosmeticsDesign-Europe.com.
“From our experience it is generally smaller companies, who are not so well connected and lack resources, who are the least prepared when it comes to safety assessments,” said Dr. Struessman.
“However, during the workshop we will be discussing the latest guidance document on safety assessment, so this information is likely to be relevant for ever the bigger and better prepared companies.”
