Exhibition showcases new materials
An exhibition and a conference will run in parallel to one another, and this year the exhibition will be open for an extra day before the conference begins in order to give visitors the opportunity to visit the stands after completing the registration process.
The exhibition offers attendees the opportunity to discover new raw materials, molecules and software, according to the organisers, and exhibitors include Innospec, Bell Flavors & Fragrance and Orgasynth.
Also among the list of exhibitors is Germany-based BASF, which will be presenting three new additions to its Aroma Chemicals portfolio.
Conference programme
The conference programme takes place from Wednesday 2 - Friday 4 June, and includes presentations from companies such as Beraca, Procter & Gamble and Unilever. Topics covered will include natural and organic, sustainability and social media
Reflecting the international nature of the event – visitors from 37 different countries were present at the last edition – all speeches are simultaneously translated into French, English, German and Spanish.
Betty Santonnat from Cosmebio will deliver a presentation on the Cosmos Standard; the new harmonized European certification standard for natural and organic cosmetics.
Filipe Tomazelli Sabara from Beraca will be discussing sustainable ingredients sourcing from Brazilian diversity in partnership with local communities, and Harvey Gedeon from Estée Lauder will deliver a presentation entitled, ‘shifting senses: re-inventing the fragrance story’.
Two roundtable discussions will also take place, although topics have not yet been confirmed, and panelists will include representatives from L’Oreal, Colgate-Palmolive and Natura.
