IFIC announces a series of professional training programmes

France cosmetic industry training association IFIC has announced a series of training courses aimed at cosmetic industry professionals.

The courses, which are all conducted in French, will be run throughout April, May and June and will address different topics, trends and challenges that are affecting the industry, providing guidance on how to best tackle these issues.

In total there will be 14 one and two day-long training courses all held in association with French beauty industry association FEBEA at its headquarters in Paris.

Targeted training for industry professionals

Each course has been designed around the association’s principles to provide targeted training for industry professionals, to increase professional knowledge, to provide experience and analysis of the latest advances in science and regulation and to increase dialogue between the industry and government institutions.

The first in the series of training programmes will start on April 2 with a theme that is garnering increasing attention within the industry, sustainable development. The course will look at how best to tackle this issue in the face of mounting consumer pressure.

Following on from this theme there will be a two-day training course on how to start up and integrate sustainable development into the business plan of a cosmetics company, which will be held April 27 – 28.

International industry trends

Several courses will also looking at important challenges in overseas markets, including regulation in the Russian market on April 6 and a closer look at the market for both over-the-counter and cosmetics products in the US.

There will also be several courses looking at regulation of the cosmetics industry in Europe, including an essential one day course on general European regulation, held on 16 April and also on June 11, together with a session about REACH held on 15 June.
