New chief information officer for Beiersdorf

German-based cosmetics company Beiersdorf has appointed Barbara Saunier to the position of chief information officer.

Saunier will assume the role on 1 April, and take over management of the company’s information technology affiliate, Beiersdorf Shared Services (BSS).

In her current role at Beiersdorf subsidiary Tesa, she is responsible for the expansion of its IT department.

Saunier will be replacing Dr Ernst Gadermann who is set to retire at the end of March, the company said in a statement.
