The Cellulite Crusher Roll-On is the latest skincare innovation from L’Oreal Garnier, and forms part of the Skin Naturals bodytonic range.
“As a prestigious and influential brand, consumers expect something special from Garnier products. RPC Bramlage-Wiko is delighted to have been given the opportunity to provide our expertise and support to ensure that the applicator for Cellulite Crusher Roll-On is unique, eye-catching and effective,” Alfons Böckmann, the director of RPC Bramlage-Wiko cluster, said in a statement.
Patented application system
According to Bramlage-Wiko, part of the RPC Group, the construction of the application system was a complex process, and required precision manufacturing in order to create a product that delivered the highest possible standard of functionality while matching the premium image expected by Garnier.
Consisting of five injection moulded parts, the application system has been patented by L’Oreal.
The roller ball is manufactured in thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), and the gel is dispensed through grooves cut into the plastic head. In addition, the product features a closure that is designed to ensure long-term preservation of the product, according to Bramlage-Wiko.
According to Garnier, the gel applicator itself is composed of two parts that help to optimize the effectiveness of the formula.
The serrated roller deeply massages the skin to ensure optimal product penetration, and the design of the tip allows the user to perform an effective massage to encourage tissue drainage, the company claims.
Building on established relationship
Bramlage-Wiko has previously worked with L’Oreal’s Garnier brand, and in 2008 developed a similar application, manufacturing a roll-on applicator for Garnier’s Lifting Anti-Wrinkle Toning Cream.
Bramlage-Wiko has also designed packaging for Beiersdorf's Nivea baby launch and Gliss Kur hair care, a Schwarzkopf and Henkel brand.
