Aria Airless, Prelude Airless and Pearl Mini Airless are all based on airless dispensing systems which the company claims help protect the product from contamination.
Aria Airless and Prelude Airless have a 32mm container with piston and are available in 15ml, 20ml, 30ml, 40ml, 50ml and 75ml sizes.
No metal components
Both are based on the Pure Path technology, which allows the liquid to be dispensed without coming into contact with any metal components that might discolour the formula.
According to the company the new products can be decorated with coloured metal overshells, metallization, lacquering, silk screening and hot stamping, allowing buyers to fully customise their choice.
These decoration techniques can also be used on the company’s other new release, the Pearl Mini Airless.
This is a mini version of an already existing airless dispenser and MWV hopes it will catch the attention of manufacturers marketing concentrated formulas in small quantities such as lip and eye creams.
It has a 32mm closure and comes in two sizes, 15ml and 50ml, adding to the already existing 30ml option.
A similar metal free dispensing system called the rolling bellow technology is the basis of the Pearl Mini.
Targeting men’s fragance
The company also showcased the customisation possibilities of its fragrance packaging range at the show in Bologna.
The Melodie pump range has been expanded and now bottles with neck diameters of 17mm, 18mm and 20mm can use it.
With these new larger sizes (the original Melodie range was available in 13mm and 15mm sizes) MWV is targeting the men’s market where bulkier designs might be preferable.
