Janson Beckett marks sales milestone with cosmeceutical launch

Janson Beckett Cosmeceuticals is celebrating the shipment of its millionth unit by extending its line of peptide-based skin care products.

One of the early pioneers of peptide-based anti-aging formulations Janson Beckett continues to benefit from the booming sales of Botox alternatives.

Now the company is marking the one million milestone with the launch of an exfoliant called DermaPlex, which incorporates the peptide Matrixyl (Palmitoyl Pentapeptide).

The product is marketed in a 2-ounce size and has an MSRP of $39.95 positioning itself towards the higher end of the market.

Botox alternative

Prices in Janson Beckett’s 15-product portfolio range from $20 to $130 per unit, putting them on the expensive side of beauty shelves although as an alternative to Botox they may be considered cheap.

The peptides in such anti-aging treatments are compared to Botox because they work by targeting the muscle movements that contribute to wrinkles and fine lines.

Peptide-based exfoliant

Janson Beckett’s new addition DermaPlex EP is applied to facial skin and allowed to partially absorb for approximately 60 seconds.

DermaPlex EP is then removed by massaging it briskly in an upward circular motion - allowing its micro scrubbers to remove dead cells.
