Players in the expanding and diversifying naturals market are on the lookout for equipment suitable for the precise and complex process of turning natural ingredients into cosmetic products.
At the Beyond Beauty show in Paris UK-based Timatic is showing off its new rotating extractor, developed for those needing precise ratios of plant material to solvent.
The company claims that the chamber of the Timatic Rotative is not pressurised so precise quantities of material and solvent can be added.
It is available in capacities ranging from 10 to 120 litres.
Apart from extractors, Timatic offers a range of other machines for the manufacturing process that can now be manufactured to order, including containers, agitators, emulsifiers, mixers, homogenisers and turbo-emulsifiers.
Bespoke options include, among others, types of pumps, interchangeable propellers, motor drive speeds, motor support bars, cooling systems, types of thermal chambers and control and display panels.
"To have a fixed range of systems would mean that some users would be missing aspects that they required, while others would be paying for facilities that were never used," said managing director Brian Peters.
He added: "We offer to build these systems to each customer's criteria, thereby ensuring they have total support for their processes and are able to operate in the way which suits them."
Commenting on where the current product selection puts the company in the market Peters said: "We anticipate taking a leading position in the supply of this specialised equipment which forms the backbone of the health and beauty industry."
Timatic is the worldwide distributor of equipment manufactured by Italy-based Technolab.
