Five ColorStay products are due for US release in January, with a global rollout planned for later next year. All items will include its newly patented SoftFlex material innovation.
Revlon claims the SoftFlex formula, which contains a cushioning polymer complex, will greatly improve its existing long-lasting make-up blueprint, originally released in 1994.
The new lines include ColorStay long-lasting make-up, with oily- and dry skin formulations, available in 32 colors.
It will also launch a ColorStay Active make-up, providing sweat-proof coverage, and ColorStay pressed powder, blemish and under eye concealer.
The blemish concealer will contain 0.5 per cent salicylic acid - an active ingredient proven to fight acne.
Also in the color category, the company intends to release a new long-lasting mascara, containing a SmoothGel formula that promises to glide on without caking or flaking.
It will roll out a new eyebrow-shaping product in the same period, in a bid to cement its position in the beauty tools market.
Revlon has worked with Metaphase, an ergonomic design company, to develop the Platinum Slant Tip Tweezer with sculpted handles and non-slip finger grips which "allow for perfect accuracy and expert definition".
