Zeller promises full range at HBA

Plastic closures specialist Zeller Plastik says packagers of cosmetic and personal care products can expect a full range of its closure technology to be on display at HBA 2003 in September.

Germany-based Zeller Plastik, the plastic closures subsidiary of Crown Holdings, says packagers of cosmetic and personal care products can expect a full range of its closure technology to be on display at HBA 2003 in September, including Zeller's new Orion snap-on and Maximo flip-top.

The Orion is described as a unique and attractive two-piece oval closure, designed to enhance visual brand appeal, provide easy-open convenience, and to quickly and cost-effectively be integrated into existing capping lines using snap-on technology. Zeller says it is ideal for personal care product applications such as shower gels and shampoos.

On the other hand, the Maximo is a new flip-top closure with an innovative design that facilitates cleaner dispensing of personal care, food and household products. Zeller claims the closure prevents leakage and makes it perfect for one-handed dispensing of products such as dishwashing liquid.

In addition, Zeller has added a 30mm-diameter model to its tube closure line. The company says it is currently working with distributors and manufacturers of bottles and tubes to bring to market 'package offerings' of bottles and tubes complete with closures. Customers will have the opportunity to review these products for the first time at HBA 2003.

Nancy Kane, marketing coordinator for Zeller Plastik said: "Our focus is to go beyond simply selling closures. Our customised dispensing closures and strategic consultation help support brand equity in a competitive marketplace and drive sales for our customers."

Crown Holdings is a leading supplier of packaging products to consumer marketing companies around the world. World headquarters are located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
