US chemical giant Dow Chemical has launched a new website to provide information about Dow's Propylene Glycol (PG) business.
"Dow is dedicated to the global propylene glycol industry and is committed to providing its customers with the products and services they need to succeed in an increasingly competitive business environment," said David Pashalidis, global business director for Dow's propylene oxide and propylene glycol business. "Our propylene glycol web site offers our customers and prospective customers a wealth of valuable resources that will assist them in their decision making process."
Dow offers two grades of monopropylene glycol: PG industrial (PGI) and high-purity PG (PG USP/EP), which meets the standards of the Food Chemicals Codex (FCC), the United States Pharmacopoeia (USP), European Pharmacopoeia (EP), Japanese Pharmacopoeia (JP) and the Brazilian Pharmacopoeia (FB) monograph. Dow also offers both dipropylene glycol (DPG) LO+ and tripropylene glycol (TPG) globally.
The high-purity grade PG USP/EP product made by Dow is used in flavours, fragrances, personal care and cosmetic applications.
