Indeed, the organiser of the Black Beauty and Fashion Awards state that there has never been an award event to celebrate beauty products for men and women of colour, which is the reason for getting the event off the ground.
The annual award ceremony will be attended by business owners and product developers alike, and aims to be a ‘people’s choice’ award for the category.
Online public voting for favourite beauty products
In line with this, an online public poll will be created, inviting members of the British public to cast their vote for the preferred products.
Organisation for the event is ramping up for products to be entered in to the awards by October of this year, while public voting is scheduled to being in March of 2016 and the final results will be announced at an awards ceremony on 3rd of November 2017.
The organiser is claiming that the event expects to attract a minimum of 25,000 votes, in turn giving exposure to millions of potential consumers, both on- and offline.
Award ceremony to be held in Central London
They also add that manufacturers, MDs, retailers, entrepreneurs, industry professionals and experts shall attend the awards night at a prestigious location in Central London that is still to be revealed.
The award ceremony will be a gala three-course dinner event that will see the finalists and winners collect their awards.
Further to that, the winners will be celebrated as both live and post event coverage in free downloadable magazine that has been designed to promote the event in both the UK and beyond.
